3 DAYS MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Day one: Murchison Falls
In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel or residence and drive northwards passing through the famous Luwero Triangle and make a stop over in Masindi for lunch. Then proceed and drive to Murchison Falls. You will drive to the top of the falls for magnificent scenery, breathtaking sight of the raging Nile as it forces its way through a rocky gap where millions of gallons of water squeeze in 7 meter gap before it falls (45 meters). You will arrive in the evening to overnight at Paraa, Safari Lodge Sambiya River Lodge or Nile safari camp for up market and Red Chili Bandas for budget.
Day Two: Launch Cruise
Wake up early morning and take break fast before going on the Buligi, Albert or Queens tracks north of the river Nile. You may be able to view those unique animals like the African Savannah like lion, leopard, giraffe, antelope, elephant, warthogs and many more. Take lunch then go for a launch cruise on the Nile River. The cruise will take you to the bottom of the thundering falls where you will see huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds like herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers, fish eagle and the rare shoebill. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day Three: Depart to Kampala
Wake up and have breakfast then proceed with packed lunch passing through Budongo forest a dense natural forest. Take a simple nature walk seeing different species of primates. Continue to Kampala arriving in the evening.
