Uganda Safari Guide

Also known as the “Pearl of Africa” Uganda is one of the most beautiful, green country that has enjoyed relative political stability compared to its neighboring countries. Located astride the Equator, Uganda is landlocked with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to the west, Sudan to the north, Kenya to the east, and Rwanda and Tanzania to the south. Uganda was a former
British colony and gained its independence in 1962.

Contrary to much un-updated information about Uganda. Uganda is for the most part safe to travel. Since 1986, most parts of Uganda have been safe for travel. Compared with other countries in Esat Africa threatened with terrorist attacks, Uganda is the most safe country for your African Holiday. Over the past 2 decades Uganda has become the best African destiantion for gorilla tours, primate tours, wildlife safaris, chimpanzee tracking adventures and birding safaris.

SAFARIS IN UGANDA

CULTURAL SAFARI IN UGANDA (PEOPLE OF UGANDA)

The people of Uganda are very hospitable and welcoming. Uganda currently has a population of over 30 million people. There are over 80 local languages spoken in Uganda, the most common being Luganda (Don’t worry you can get a pocketbook Luganda-English guide at Aristoc Bookstore in Kampala). English is the official language which makes travel and communication in Uganda much more enjoyable. And the Ugandans are famous in East Africa for their friendliness and laughter as well.
